BIRATNAGAR, OCT 04 - Four people have been killed and twenty others injured in separate accidents in Jhapa, Udayapur, Saptari and Dang districts.
25-year-old Suraj Bishwarkama, driver of the ill-fated van (Ko 1 Cha 5026), was killed when the van lost its control and met with an accident at Satashidham-9 in Jhapa. Similarly, a youth was killed in a motorcycle accident at Triyuga-11, Udayapur district. His identity is yet to be identified.
Meanwhile, 17 people have been injured in a passenger bus accident in Saptari this morning. Nine amongst the injured are in critical condition, said police. The injured are receiving medical attention at Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital.
Two killed in motorcycle accident
Two persons were killed when two motorcycle s collided in Dang on Friday.
The accident occurred when two motorcycle s with the registration number plates Ba 2 Pa 7280 and Bhe 4 Pa 5381 collided at near Saurikula of Tulsipur-Ghorahi road section.
The District Police Office Dang has identified the deceased as policeman Tilak Bahadur Khadka and Dev Raj Yogi.
Others three have been injured in the accident and they are policeman Deep Pun, Resham Basnet and a five-year-old girl whose identity is yet to be ascertained.
The injured have been sent to Nepalgunj for treatment. Addresses of the accident victims have not been yet ascertained, the Office said.
