A man committed suicide in police custody in the district on Thursday.
Dilli Bahadur Bista, 55, of Aathbiskot-6 killed self by hanging from the ceiling of the custody at the District Police Office. Bista was arrested on Wednesday as per the complaint lodged by his wife.
Bista, under the influence of alcohol, torched his house while the family members were asleep on Monday morning. The body was taken to District Hospital for post-mortem.
