A pastor who refused to be treated by anyone other than God, died from a snake bite wound.
Pastor Jamie Coots of Kentucky, died on Saturday night, after being bitten by a rattlesnake.
According to the Middlesboro Police Department, around 8:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to a home after a man was bitten by a snake.
Police said they found Coots at home with an apparent snake bite to his hand.
However, the pastor refused to be treated by humans, as he believed that he would be healed by God.
Authorities said that the EMS responders explained the dangers of not treating the snake bite wound, but Coots still refused treatment.
Coots died an hour after he refused medical treatment.
This was not the first time that the pastor was bitten by a snake. A while ago, a snake bit his finger. He also refused treatment and lost his finger, and sadly, this time he lost his life.
