Demonstration calling for fair probe in Nepali girl’s mystery death

March 5, Panitanki (Morang).

 Locals in Morang district have demonstrated at the Area Police Office, Rani, today demanding the facts behind the death of a Nepali girl on Indian territory near the Nepal-India border, be made public.

The locals demonstrated after Sushma Bishwokarma, 20, daughter of Chandeshwor Bishwokarma, of Biratnagar Sub-Metropolis-20, was found murdered in Indian land.Sushma, a mentally retarded, was missing since March 2 from her house, was found dead at Bhadiyari of Arariya district of India next morning.

Dhan Kumar Lama, a local, said that they demonstrated demanding that the facts of the incident be made public as the cause behind the murder has not been released and nobody has been arrested so far even though three days passed.

Locals suspect that the girl might have been gang raped after her abduction. RSS
