FEB 16, EGYPT.

Egyptian Interior Ministry says bus with South Koreans was traveling from St. Catherine's Monastery in south Sinai to Israel when it was attacked.

An explosion tore through a bus carrying South Korean Christian tourists from the southern Sinai Peninsula to the Israeli border on Sunday, killing four people and injuring around 15.

The Egyptian Interior Ministry said three tourists and an Egyptian bus driver lost their lives in the attack, adding that the bus was traveling from St. Catherine's Monastery, a popular tourist destination in the south Sinai, to nearby Israel when it was attacked by terrorists.

South Korea's Foreign Ministry confirmed two deaths of its nationals and said nine people had been wounded. It said 32 South Koreans were on the bus and that the tourists were Christians from the same church in South Korea.
